The house

Warm, open and ready for lazy days

On the ground floor, a spacious living room flows seamlessly into a fully equipped kitchen — an open, airy space made for time together. Underfloor heating in the bathroom and the living and kitchen area keeps the house cosy in every season, and the fireplace takes care of the evenings.

Fibre internet (80/80 Mbit/s) and a TV with Chromecast make streaming easy — after a long day outdoors, just sink in.

And the name? Beverhuset means “the beaver house”: for a brief spell in the early nineties, beavers were bred right here — the holiday house actually stands on the foundations of the old beaver house. The beavers are long gone, but the name stuck.

Haugesund Airport is on Karmøy itself, about 25 minutes from the house — with direct flights from Oslo and selected European cities.
From Stavanger
About 2 hours by car, including the Mortavika–Arsvågen ferry.

About 3.5–4 hours by car along the E39, including a ferry.
From Oslo
About 7 hours by car across the Haukeli mountain pass (E134).
